Once the AP is used up for a move, the move can no longer be utilized until the particular Morty is healed or they are given plutonic rocks which can restore some or all AP depending on the class of plutonic rock. Every Morty can learn a total of four moves. Each individual move has a set number of uses known as AP. Ricks can heal their Morty’s at the healing center aboard the Citadel of Ricks for free as many times as needed or desired.Īs Morty’s level up they can learn new moves. Once all of the Player Ricks Morty’s are dazed they will either be given the chance to be revived by watching a paid advertisement or be rescued by Bird Person and flown to the healing center. Players can decline to watch the video if desired.Īs Morty’s gain experience and level they earn more HP or “hit points” which is the amount of damage they can take in battle before becoming dazed. At the end of battles players are given the opportunity to watch a video from Mr. If a player is using a strategically weak Morty, they run the risk of more critical hits and losing.Īs players win battles against Morty collectors and wild Morty’s, the Morty’s who are not dazed and took part in the battle will gain experience points. Players should try to match their Morty’s class against their opponents to deliver the maximum amount of damage. Rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, and paper beats rock. The game dynamics of Pocket Morty’s is set up in the style of the classic playground game of chance known as “rock, paper, scissors.” None of that hocus-pokemon elemental stuff for Rick Sanchez! Every Morty has a class based on either rock, paper, or scissors. Players can admire their badges in the “badges and trophies” section of the data pad. The “player Rick” will need to collect a total of 18 badges and defeat 6 council members. Once Rick has enough badges, he can challenge the Council of Ricks who are keeping his portal gun hostage. In the campaign mode, players are given an epic Morty and the task of collecting badges from Ricks in different dimensions in order to win back his portal gun and return to his reality. Pocket Morty’s is divided up into two types of games: campaign and multiplayer. What is the Gameplay like in Pocket Morty’s? Just like in Pokémon players are tasked with roaming the land, in Pocket Morty’s, all of the different dimensions in the “multiverse” collecting all of the lost Morty’s. Pocket Morty’s is set up like one of the most popular handheld video games of all time, Pokémon. Now, with Pocket Morty’s from Adult Swim Games, players can start their own journey and becoming the most Rick of all Ricks in all of the multiverses. The only debuff missing is Evade.Wubba-lubba-dub-dub and grass….tastes bad!!! If these words of Rick-wisdom resonate with you then you might have a little bit of Rick Sanchez in you. Only one other Morty can give you an Attack Debuff, Accuracy Debuff, Defense Debuff, and Paralyze Debuff in the their 4 allotted attack slots, which makes him an invaluable "Swiss Army Knife" for raids. These are the Mortys we believe are the best debuffers: S-Tier: Forbidden Mortyįorbidden Morty is hands-down the best debuffer in the game, mainly because of his excellent moveset. At high enough levels, the type of your debuffer won't matter (you'll still be able to do all the attacks you need before being defeated) so use the best one you have. To be successful in Raids, you'll need to debuff the Raid Boss's stats to both increase your damage output and increase your survivability. Speed also has no effect in raids since you will alway attack first. Meeseeks boxes, so don't bother with those. Raid bosses are currently immune to Poison and Mr. When building a raid deck, you ideally want 1-2 "debuffer" Mortys that can lower the boss's Attack, Accuracy, Defense, and Evade, while also Paralyzing the boss. We've classified the Mortys into the following categories:ĭebuffers, Rock Types, Paper Types, Scissor Types, and Normal Types. This section lists what we think are the best Mortys to use in Raids.
